Katie & Emmanuel: The Engagement

Ursula from Ursula Page Photography

I met up with Katie and Emmanuel one morning at Pebble Hill for their engagement session and in the parking lot I spied the most amazing truck. I kept staring at the truck thinking how awesome it would look in pictures as well as how in the world I could ask to borrow it for a picture. Then, I met the owner who actually brought the truck for the pictures and we realized that we are neighbors, LOL! Anyway, I was super excited to have it for Katie and Emmanuel’s engagement pictures as they are one seriously cute couple that could take some awesome pictures with that truck (and everywhere else around the property). We had a great time at the session and between Katie’s model-perfect posing and looks and Emmanuel’s super cute smile and slight shyness…the pictures turned out awesome. I also loved that Emmanuel wore his dress blue for some of these as it’s just that extra perfect touch. Their wedding next year is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to shoot it:)

Sarah & Ike are Engaged!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Lynn Sterling of Thomasville, GA announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Sterling, to Ike Thurston, son of Van Thurston and Teresa Van Mol of Williamson, GA.

Sarah and Ike began dating in early January, both knowing they wanted to marry one another. After waiting a few months for Sarah to finish school for the semester, Sarah and Ike went on a trip to the Cherohala Skyway in Tennessee, where Ike proposed at the most beautiful overlook on May 11, 2012.

Sarah and Ike’s wedding is planned for December 15th 2012 in Thomasville, GA.

Hannah & Kahlan

Hannah and Kahlan got married at the beautiful home of Jill & Rankin Smith on a gorgeous sunny day. I first met Hannah and the bridesmaids while they were getting ready. I snagged the rings for a few moments for some pictures…they were gorgeous! Hannah has a really tight bond with her girls and they know how to have fun! I loved that they not only knew how to have fun together but they had a time of prayer with Hannah before the wedding to lift her and Kahlan up to God before the ceremony.
We then headed outdoors for all the formal pictures as well as some with just Hannah and then Hannah and Kahlan together. What a gorgeous couple they are! I should mention I did get some of just Kahlan too. He had a groomsman that cracked me up for every picture he was in. He has some pretty awesome friends too! As I said on their engagement post, I am not sure this couple could take a bad picture if they tried. They also fit together perfectly. They are laid back, sweet and a lot of fun.
Then it was time for the ceremony. The weather was very pretty….not to hot or too cold. Hannah came around from the side of the house and she was just glowing. Kahlan was all smiles watching her walk down the aisle. It was a very touching ceremony.
The reception was held both inside this huge, fantastic game room as well as outside under a tent and the surrounding area. The game room was the most amazing game room I have ever seen. Inside was an entire polar bear, grizzly bear, (most of) an elephant and giraffe and lots of other smaller game. In one of these pictures you can see the giraffe and someone standing on the other side of the room if that gives you an idea of how big the animals were.
Outside the dancing was in full swing under the beautiful star lit sky. It was a beautiful night for a wedding and the guests had a fabulous time. They had sparklers to celebrate their first dance. It was pitch black by then but with a very high ISO and some fabulous sparkers, I got a bunch of neat pictures of their first dance. Hannah and Kahlan, it was such a pleasure to photograph your wedding and be a part of your very special day!
